The Nipissing Lakers men’s hockey team is helping stock the shelves of the student food bank. For the fifth consecutive year, the team made a significant donation to the on campus Food Bank.

This year the team donated, in partnership with Mike and Lori Sheehan from No Frills McKeown, approximately 900-pounds of food thanks to fundraising efforts such as the recent celebrity waiter night at Boston Pizza. Over the past five years, the team has donated close to 2-tonnes (4,000 pounds) of food for students.
