Congratulations to Dr. Nancy Maynes and Dr. Blaine Hatt of Nipissing’s Schulich School of Education, on being awarded the editorship for a new Canadian Association of Teacher Educators Polygraph Series. The book they are editing will create a compilation of work from authors across Canada whose research focuses on teacher hiring practices. The working title of the book is When the Interview is Not Enough: Examining New Teacher Hiring Practices and Alternatives in the Canadian Context.

Maynes and Hatt also been invited to publish a new book on this topic with an academic publishing company in Germany.
This is an area of study that has been a focus for their research for several years.
